MAG Foundation providing free archived CME webinar

A recording of the "ER/LA Opioid REMS: Achieving Safe Use While Improving Patient Care" webinar that was hosted by the MAG Foundation on October 26, is available as a free archived webinar until March 1, 2014.

Learners can start and stop the webinar at their leisure.

The webinar features P. Tennent Slack, M.D., the Statewide Program Committee chair for the 'Think About It' campaign and Susan Blank, M.D., the president-elect of the Georgia Society of Addiction Medicine.

Physicians who successfully complete the webinar and post-webinar evaluation will receive 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and a certificate of completion that will fulfill any FDA-approved REMS training requirements should the training become mandatory.

The webinar also provides valuable information for non-physicians who are involved in opioid treatments as well. Non-physicians who successfully complete the webinar and post-webinar evaluation will also receive a certificate of completion.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Physicians' Institute for Excellence in Medicine and the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG). The Physicians' Institute for Excellence in Medicine is accredited by MAG to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Physicians' Institute designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
